George Lucas to Join in Presentation of Best Director Oscar at Academy Awards

In addition to cheering on the phenomenal work of ILM and Skywalker Sound at this Sunday’s Academy Awards presentation, there’s another reason to tune in to the ceremonies: George Lucas will present the Best Director Oscar, appearing with Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola to make one of this year’s five nominees very happy. As a reminder, those nominees are Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (Babel), Clint Eastwood (Letters from Iwo Jima), Stephen Frears (The Queen), Paul Greengrass (United 93) and Martin Scorcese (The Departed).Tune in to ABC at 6 p.m. Sunday to follow all of the Oscar action!
