Another confirmation that Pixar's "Cars 2" is in the making?

I was reading the post "Jungle Book Documentary (and some musings on pacing in animated film)" on the fantastic "Temple of the Seven Golden Camels" blog and the comments to that post were very interesting as well. Funny enough, one of the last posts is by a Pixar story artist who mentions:

CARS ended up a big financial success, (they are making a secqual already because the merchandise have been fenomenal)
