Roku Netflix one-dot streaming

You can force full bandwidth/ 4 dots. I did it and mine works like a charm, although I did move my wireless access point a little closer to avoid hang-ups. I cut and pasted this from a Roku Forum thread: "Using the remote, hit Home Home Home Home Home Rewind Rewind Rewind FastForward FastForward (that's 5 Homes, 3 Rewinds, 2 FastForwards), keypresses about 1/2 second apart. You may have to try several times and the trick is to make the keypresses spaced out far enough. (Remember, the last two are >, which are on the bottom row of buttons, not the <> keys to the side of the select button.) This will take you into debug mode."

Once you are there you select 2.2 Mbps. It works, flawlessly for me.

When Fanboys get retarded - Star Trek's new Enterprise

Just click on the image and read it. Wow. All I can say (and that comes from a huge Star Trek fan): It's just a movie.

I hope that person went out and voted. With so much energy he/she could accomplish a many positive things. :)

Oh wait, it's a fanboy. Nevermind.

Beam me out.

Empire sees Star Trek

Empire was privileged to be at a world first screening of footage from Star Trek this morning and any reservations we may have harboured over JJ Abrams’ reimagining of the franchise have been well and truly beamed away. What we saw was a medley of action, excitement, humour and a true reverence for the franchise that should both appease fans and suck in newcomers.

Abrams himself appeared to introduce four separate clips from the film, clearly a little apprehensive about airing his footage for the first time and so many months away from its May 2009 release.

Four clips, some great sequences and action the likes of which the Trek franchise hasn’t seen since First Contact. There are a lot of Trek fans out there with reservations about Abrams’ vision for this film but this is one Trekkie who can’t wait to see the finished film.

Spielberg & Will Smith are remaking "Oldboy"?

Oldboy is a fantastic movie, especially when you don't know anything about the plot. But of course the site that posted this adds a synopsis of the movie. SPOILERS!!!! :)

As much as I like both, Spielberg and Smith can only water down that movie. Please watch the original first!!

Ads on this site

As Cameron nicely pointed out, there's an ad (for the moment) that supports traditional marriage only (whatever that means). I can't tell you anyway to click on those ads, that would be against the adsense rules, but I can tell you to not click on that one. Unless you really support that, but that's your problem. There, I said it.

The content of this site determines the ad content, but every now and then it just chooses something.

And since we're on the subject of voting. Take your lazy ass and go VOTE!
